The black could have made it feel very formal, but the ruffles soften it. Then the beads add a little shine. Nothing feels overdone, which I appreciated.

I ordered a 12 and the fit was good. I wore a small heel and the maxi length worked nicely.

Very glad to find this style in my size. The fit was flattering, and the ruffle detail made the dress feel less plain.
