Okay… this one surprised me.

My friend pointed out how smooth the shape looks from the side, and after that I kept noticing the silhouette more than anything else.

Up close, the lace has a lot more detail than I noticed at first. The appliques create small variations in texture, so it doesn’t look flat even though it’s all one color.

I was a little nervous about a mermaid silhouette, but this one feels more natural than I thought. It follows your shape instead of forcing it, and the transition from the hips into the train is really smooth, not abrupt.

This fits way better than I expected.

The spaghetti straps almost disappear, which makes the whole upper part feel really open. Then the lace starts to draw your attention in closer, especially around the bodice where the appliques follow the shape instead of sitting flat.

This dress looks incredibly soft and romantic in the photos. I wore it for many of my wedding photos.

This dress is beautiful, and it suits me perfectly!
