The ruching on the bodice is subtle but so flattering. It gives shape without making the dress feel overly detailed.
Surprisingly I can sit, move around and even shuffle dance a little. Nothing scratches or rubs my skin, you can tell it’s well constructed. This is easily one of my best wedding‑planning purchases so far.
I’m 5’2”, US size 4. I’ve always loved the mermaid silhouette but most fitted styles make me overthink my body. Not this one. The ruching hides all my little insecurities. Strapless neckline sits perfectly and flatters my shoulders.
I just felt happy. I don’t need tons of jewelry or extra accessories to make this look work. Knowing I will feel secure and beautiful on such an emotional day takes such a huge weight off my shoulders. I genuinely cannot wait to wear this for our ceremony.
I have zero regrets with this order. I would absolutely recommend this gown to any bride who loves the mermaid style.
So many wedding photos are shot from behind, so I cared a lot about how the back would turn out. This totally exceeded my expectations. All the buttons line up neatly, it looks so timeless and romantic. When I spin slowly the court train flows so nicely behind me. Every time I check my back in the mirror I get those little pre‑wedding butterflies. I’m already daydreaming about all those gorgeous aisle shots we are going to get.
