I Was Looking for Navy

But I didn’t want another boring navy dress. The ruffle and slit give this one a little personality. The fabric also has a really pretty texture when you see it up close.

I wanted a dress for my daughter’s wedding that still felt like something I would choose for myself. This did. It’s pretty. It’s feminine. But it doesn’t have a ton of sparkle or fuss. Exactly my speed.

For My Daughter’s Wedding

The wedding was during the day, and I didn’t want to wear a heavy formal gown. This worked so much better. The linen gave it a relaxed feel while the maxi length still made it wedding appropriate. I added a low heel and some simple jewelry.

Simple. Pretty. Done.

Dark navy. Flattering shape. Nice ruffle. That’s pretty much all I needed.
