The Embroidery Is Sweet

It’s not overly sparkly or flashy. Just a little detail that makes the dress feel more special. I’m more of a “pretty and simple” person, so this worked for me.

Not because there was anything wrong with it. I just wasn’t used to seeing myself in a midi dress. I tried it again with the shoes I planned to wear and suddenly loved it. Funny how that works. I ended up keeping it and wore it to a formal luncheon.

So Pretty

The color is even nicer in person. Soft, kind of dreamy. I wore it with little earrings and nude heels and called it a day. Very happy!

And sometimes that’s all you need from a dress. I put it on and didn’t start picking it apart in the mirror. I liked the way I looked. I liked the color. I liked the length. Done.
