I’m 5’2” and usually worry about maxi dresses overwhelming me, but this one surprised me!! The pleated chiffon falls really nicely instead of swallowing my frame. With heels, the length worked perfectly. The halter neckline also helped elongate my upper body so I didn’t feel short at all in photos!
For reference I’m 5’5”, 155 lbs, hourglass shape (36D bust, 29” waist, 42” hips). This dress fit me really well!! The A-line shape balanced my hips nicely and didn’t cling in the wrong places. The cross halter actually highlighted my shoulders in a really flattering way. I felt super confident without needing shapewear!!
This dress is INSANE in photos and videos!! The pleats catch movement so well, it never looks stiff or flat. Even candid shots came out amazing without trying. The color also looks different in the best way depending on lighting—outdoor shots looked dreamy and soft, indoor lighting made it look a bit richer.
What surprised me most is how comfortable this dress stayed all day!! I wore it from early morning getting ready through a full wedding day and reception. No itching, no overheating, nothing digging in. It’s one of those dresses you forget you’re wearing in the best way.
I was NOT expecting to love this dress this much!! The Sea Glass color is even prettier in person—it has this soft, slightly green-blue tone that looks so calming and elegant at the same time. The chiffon is super light and flowy, and the pleats move beautifully when you walk. I wore it to a beach wedding and it honestly fit the whole vibe perfectly!!
I’m 5’6”, 140 lbs, usually size 6, and I ordered a 6—it fit perfectly true to size!! The halter felt secure without being tight around the neck, and the zipper back made it easy to get in and out of. I wore it for hours and never felt uncomfortable or restricted.
At first I thought it was just “pretty,” but after wearing it for a few hours I honestly fell in love with it. The way it moves, the way it fits in photos, even how it feels when walking—it just keeps getting better the longer you wear it. By the end of the night I didn’t want to take it off!!
The dress itself is great quality, but shipping cut it a little close for my event. It arrived in time, just not as early as I would’ve liked for peace of mind. If you’re ordering for an event, I’d recommend ordering early!!
