I was so focused on making sure everything was ready for my son that I barely thought about myself. Then I got dressed and actually stopped for a second. I really liked what I saw. The dress was soft, feminine and formal enough for the occasion. Definitely a good choice for mother of the groom.

That was actually one of my main requirements. I wanted something that covered my arms but didn’t look like I was trying to hide under a jacket. The cape was perfect for that. It gave me the coverage I wanted and still looked feminine.

Hair done. Makeup done. Dress on. Okay...now I was ready. I loved having something pretty to put on after spending months worrying about everybody else’s wedding details.

This champagne shade made the wedding feel a little more special. It was soft, warm and looked beautiful in the venue lighting. I like it!!!
